  • Definitions

    1. In these Terms & Conditions:

    • Account means a personal account created by you on the Website.
    • Additional Delivery Charge has the meaning set out in clause 49.
    • Lux Dog Beds, we, us, or our means SUNLAI GROUP PTY LTD (679 806 592).
    • Australian Consumer Law (ACL) means Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
    • Delivery Charge means the delivery fee applicable to your Order.
    • Delivery Option means the delivery options available for an Order as presented on the Website from time to time. Options, charges, and estimated delivery times vary depending on the Goods selected and the delivery destination.
    • Goods means our dog beds and related products purchased in an Order.
    • Order means an order placed in-store or via the Website.
    • Password means the password used to access your Account.
    • Publication means any promotional or marketing material issued by us, including digital communications, catalogues, advertising, and the Website.
    • Website means https://www.luxdogbeds.com.au.

    2. Pricing

    • From time to time, Goods may have been offered at a lower price prior to being advertised as “on sale.” Unless stated otherwise, any savings are calculated from the regular ticket price.
    • Unless expressly stated, Prices exclude delivery charges.
    • All Prices are inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to adjust Prices at any time without prior notice. The Price displayed at the time you place your Order will apply, even if the Price changes before your Order is accepted, unless the Price was displayed in error.
    • Each Order accepted by us constitutes a separate and binding agreement for the supply of the Goods.
    • Risk and title in the Goods pass to you upon delivery.

    3. Promotions

    Regular Savings
    Savings are calculated from regular ticket prices. Offers are not valid in conjunction with any other promotion, negotiated offer, or discount. Gift cards and delivery charges are excluded.


    4. Availability of Goods

    While we take great care to maintain accurate stock levels, availability may occasionally be affected by supplier delays. As such, we cannot guarantee that all Goods will be available at all times.

    We reserve the right to withdraw or suspend the sale of any Goods at any time, whether temporarily or permanently, without notice.

    We may cancel an Order prior to delivery where:

    • our suppliers are unable to provide the Goods;
    • circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent delivery within a reasonable timeframe;
    • the Goods were incorrectly described, including pricing, features, or imagery; or
    • you request cancellation and are entitled to do so under these Terms & Conditions.

    To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the unavailability of Goods.

    Goods that are not immediately available will be supplied at the Price displayed at the time your Order is placed, except for items marked “Limited Stock” or “Discontinued.”

    Any accessories, styling items, or props shown in imagery are for presentation purposes only and are not included unless expressly stated.


    5. Order Cancellations

    You may cancel your Order if:

    • we materially breach these Terms & Conditions; or
    • we are unable to deliver your Order within a reasonable period of the estimated delivery timeframe, excluding delays outside our control.

    Once an Order has been accepted, it may not be cancelled or amended unless expressly permitted under these Terms & Conditions. Cancellation or variation fees may apply. Orders cannot be cancelled once Goods have been dispatched.

    If we cancel your Order after acceptance, we will notify you by email and refund all amounts paid, excluding any non-refundable amounts (such as deposits for Special Orders).

    To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the cancellation of an Order.

    Placing Orders Online

    Orders may be placed by following the instructions on the Website.

    We take great care to ensure that all Goods displayed on our Website are accurately described. However, on occasion, errors or inaccuracies may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors at any time, including after an Order has been placed.

    To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours, information, or other content on the Website are accurate, complete, current, or error-free, nor do we provide any warranty regarding the standard or quality of Goods beyond those guarantees required under the Australian Consumer Law.

    Every effort is made to display colours as accurately as possible. Please note that colour representation may vary depending on your screen or device. Minor variations in colour appearance do not constitute a fault. Returns requested solely due to colour variation will be treated as a change of mind and handled in accordance with our returns policy.

    From time to time, our suppliers may be unable to fulfil an order, or Goods delivered may not meet our quality standards. We reserve the right to withdraw any Goods from sale at any time and to amend or remove any Website content without notice.

    If Goods are unavailable, we may cancel your Order prior to dispatch. Where this occurs, we will notify you by email as soon as practicable and offer either a refund or store credit for the unavailable item.

    We reserve the right to decline or cancel Orders where payment authorisation cannot be obtained, fraudulent activity is suspected, eligibility criteria are not met, or where acceptance would otherwise be inconsistent with these Terms & Conditions.

    We may refuse to process an Order or provide service at our discretion. In exceptional circumstances, this may occur after an order confirmation has been issued. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for withdrawing Goods, amending Website content, or declining to process an Order.

    By submitting an Order, you are making an offer to purchase the Goods at the Price and applicable delivery charges displayed at the time of submission. We may accept or decline this offer at our discretion, including where Orders appear to be for commercial quantities.

    If you place an Order on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have obtained their consent before providing their personal information.

    You are responsible for ensuring all Order details are accurate and complete. By placing an Order, you warrant that all information provided is true and correct.

    Once an Order has been accepted, it cannot be cancelled or amended unless permitted under these Terms & Conditions.

    To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or expense arising from incorrect or incomplete Order information or from an inability to amend or cancel an accepted Order.

    Upon submitting an Order, you will receive an order reference number by email.


    Payment

    Payment may be made using Visa, Mastercard, eligible prepaid cards, PayPal, or Gift Cards. We reserve the right to change available payment methods at any time.

    If the name on the payment method does not match the Order details, we may decline the Order or request additional verification in accordance with our fraud prevention processes. By submitting payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable Price and delivery charges.

    Goods will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully processed. If payment cannot be completed, your Order will be rejected and you will be notified by email.

    We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information during the payment process. We do not store credit card or banking details. While we take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised use of payment information will not occur and are not liable for losses arising from such misuse.

    For high-value Orders or where fraudulent activity is suspected, we may place an Order on hold while additional verification is undertaken. If we are unable to reasonably confirm the legitimacy of an Order, it may be cancelled and you will be notified accordingly.


Delivery

Delivery charges (if applicable) are payable in addition to the price of the Goods (Delivery Charges).

Delivery fees and estimated timeframes vary depending on the size, weight, and destination of your Order. For Website Orders, applicable Delivery Charges will be displayed at checkout. Certain Online Exclusive items may attract separate delivery fees. Your Order may be delivered in multiple consignments.

Estimated delivery times shown at checkout assume delivery to the front door of a ground-floor residence. Requests for delivery beyond this point must be made prior to placing your Order and are subject to courier availability and additional fees. Please make this request by contacting us at customercare@luxdogbeds.com.au. Approval is not guaranteed.

In some locations, additional delivery costs may apply where your address falls outside standard courier service areas (Additional Delivery Charge). These charges may apply even where Goods are advertised as “free delivery” or similar. Where applicable, we will contact you to provide a quote before accepting your Order. If you do not accept the Additional Delivery Charge, your Order will be cancelled and no payment will be taken.

By placing an Order, you agree to pay the Price of the Goods, any Delivery Charge, and any Additional Delivery Charge.

Unless otherwise stated, Orders are typically dispatched within 24–72 business hours. Some Orders, including Special Orders, may require extended dispatch timeframes. Delivery delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control. We will notify you by email once your Order has been dispatched or if delays are anticipated.

Risk in the Goods passes to you upon delivery. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, theft, or damage after delivery has occurred.

For certain large or high-value items, alternative delivery services may be available in select locations. Our customer care team can confirm availability and applicable fees.

We do not deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers. Most deliveries are made via courier and require a signature on delivery. If delivery cannot be completed, a card may be left with instructions for redelivery or collection.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery to locations we consider inaccessible or high risk. In such cases, you may arrange delivery using your own courier, with all associated risks and insurance remaining your responsibility.

Delivery is available Australia-wide for most products. Some items may be limited to metropolitan delivery areas, as indicated on the product listing. We do not currently offer international delivery.

You are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate. If delivery fails due to incorrect information provided by you, additional delivery charges may apply. Where delivery cannot be completed due to customer error, we reserve the right to cancel the Order and refund the Order value less delivery and associated costs.


Click & Collect (Showroom – Appointment Only)

Orders may be placed for collection from our showroom by appointment only. We will notify you once your Order is ready for collection.

To collect your Order, you must present your order confirmation and valid photo identification. You may authorise a third party to collect on your behalf, provided you notify us in advance. The authorised person must present the order reference and valid photo identification.


Refunds & Returns

(Including Quality Guarantee & Returns Guide)

Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If your product is faulty, damaged, or does not comply with a consumer guarantee, please contact us as soon as possible with your name and order number. Our customer care team will assist you promptly.

We want you to love your Lux Dog Beds purchase. If, within 60 days of your tax invoice date, you change your mind or find the item unsuitable, we may (at our discretion) offer an exchange or refund, subject to the conditions below. Exclusions apply to Online Exclusive items and Special Orders.

Change-of-mind returns are not available for:

  • mattresses, bedding, or covers
  • Goods sold “as is”
  • Gift cards or credit notes

Returned Goods must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Return transport costs are your responsibility.

Proof of purchase is required and may include a tax invoice, receipt, delivery note, or finance documentation. Confirmation emails alone are not sufficient.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

Faults or defects should be reported within 7 days of becoming apparent. Claims must be submitted in accordance with our Quality Guarantee.

If Goods arrive visibly damaged, please photograph the damage, refuse delivery, and contact us immediately. If damage is discovered after delivery, notify us within 3 business days and provide supporting images or video.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

  • repair (self or technician-assisted)
  • replacement (subject to availability)
  • store credit or refund
  • alternative Goods

If you receive incorrect Goods, we will arrange return and replacement at no cost to you.

Refunds are issued to the original purchaser using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

It is your responsibility to ensure correct sizing. Please refer to our Lux Dog Bed Size Guide.

Your use of the Website is governed by these Terms & Conditions and our Website Terms of Use.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Amendments take effect once published on the Website.

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, it will be severed without affecting the remainder.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

User Generated Content (UGC)

By submitting content to the Website, you confirm that you own or have rights to the content and grant Lux Dog Beds a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, display, and adapt that content. We reserve the right to moderate or remove UGC at our discretion.

UGC must not be misleading, offensive, unlawful, or promotional in nature. You agree to indemnify Lux Dog Beds against claims arising from your UGC.

The following disclaimers and expansion terms apply to promotions and statements used across our Publications.

Delivery Offers

  • Free delivery applies to standard Orders over $100 delivered to select Australian metropolitan capital cities, excluding WA, TAS, NT, SA and remote areas. Delivery estimates range from 2–7 business days for major metropolitan areas only.
  • Standard delivery to other regions, including WA, TAS, NT, SA, and remote areas, is estimated at 7–12 business days and may incur additional charges.
  • A delivery fee of $9.95 applies to Orders under $100 within eligible metropolitan capital cities (excluding WA, TAS, NT, SA and remote areas).
  • For all other locations, delivery charges will be calculated at checkout.

Promotional Notes

  • Half Price offers apply only to the nominated item when purchased with the advertised qualifying product.
  • Discontinued items are available only while limited stock lasts. No rain checks apply.

Quality Guarantee

Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have Goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Definitions

  • ACL means the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Lux Dog Beds, Mochii Pet, we, us, or our means SUNLAI GROUP PTY LTD (ACN 679 806 592).
  • As Is means a Product sold in its displayed condition, with disclosed defects.
  • Guarantee Period means the period specified on your Tax Invoice.
  • Product means a Lux Dog Beds product purchased by you as a consumer.
  • Tax Invoice means the tax invoice issued at purchase.

This Quality Guarantee is provided in addition to your rights under the ACL and any manufacturer’s warranty.


Guarantee Period

We warrant that Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable Guarantee Period, commencing from the date of your Tax Invoice.

Where a Product is replaced, the Guarantee Period for the replacement expires on the same date as the original Product.


Scope of Guarantee

This Quality Guarantee applies to manufacturing or material defects identified during the Guarantee Period and is available only to the original purchaser.

You must notify us within a reasonable time of identifying a defect. Failure to do so may affect your entitlement where additional damage results.

Where a Serious Defect occurs within:

  • 12 months for Products priced at $500 or less; or
  • 18 months for Products priced between $500 and $1,000

you may choose a repair, replacement, or refund.

For defects that do not constitute a Serious Defect, or are reported after the above periods, we may, at our discretion, offer a repair, replacement, or refund.

A Serious Defect includes:

  • a major failure under the ACL
  • significant departure from description or sample
  • substantial unfitness for purpose
  • safety concerns

Normal wear and tear, compression without structural failure, fabric pilling, minor stitching issues, or cosmetic imperfections do not constitute Serious Defects.

Our assessment does not limit your statutory rights under the ACL.


Exclusions

Subject to the ACL, this Quality Guarantee does not cover damage caused by:

  • normal wear and tear
  • improper use, cleaning, or maintenance
  • spills, stains, bodily fluids, or corrosive substances
  • commercial or non-domestic use
  • failure to follow care instructions
  • acts of God or external events
  • disclosed defects in Products sold As Is

Guarantee Periods for As Is Products are:

  • under $250: 3 months
  • $250–$500: 6 months
  • $500–$1,000: 12 months

If your pet is not completely satisfied, we will happily exchange the mattress for another Lux Dog Beds mattress, subject to the conditions below.

Key Conditions

  • Exchanges apply to mattresses only; refunds are not available under this guarantee.
  • The mattress must be protected using the supplied water- and stain-resistant lining.
  • Return transport is at your cost.
  • Beds returned in an unhygienic condition may require professional cleaning prior to exchange.
  • Claims must be made within one month of delivery or collection.

Your rights under the Quality Guarantee and Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.
